Myers Adds Tuff Stack Pro™ Heavyweight Tank to IBC Lineup

IBC - Heavy weight - Tuff Stack Pro

SOUTH BEND, IN — Elkhart Plastics LLC, a Myers Industries, Inc. company (NYSE: MYE), is expanding its intermediate bulk container (IBC) line to include the new Tuff Stack Pro™ Heavyweight IBC with a 428 kPa design pressure rating.

The company’s newest IBC has an inner cylindrical tank positioned within a heavy-duty all-poly structural frame designed to fit a variety of applications and process uses. It offers optional top lifting plates and is designed and tested for 1.9 S.G. product weight.

Available in 275- and 330-gallon sizes, the Tuff Stack Pro Heavyweight is the fourth IBC model available from Elkhart Plastics. The company rotomolded its Tuff Series IBC line, including the Tuff Stack Pro Heavyweight, using food-safe and recyclable resin in its U.S. manufacturing facilities. The tanks easily stack with other poly IBCs and are washable and reusable as a more environmentally friendly option.

The Tuff Stack Pro Heavyweight is UN/DOT 31H1 certified and manufactured in ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 certified facilities. Its rotomolded construction allows the IBC to provide excellent impact strength backed by a team dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

“Our team identified a need for an IBC that supports higher internal pressures and responded with the Tuff Stack Pro Heavyweight,” says Jack Welter, Business Vice President, Rotational Molding Platform for Myers Industries, Inc. “We’re proud to expand our IBC product line to continue meeting the needs of our customers in the chemical industry.”

The new Tuff Stack Pro Heavyweight shares accessories with the standard Tuff Stack Pro launched at the end of 2020. This includes the Tuff LinQ™ outlet valve, which offers a cleanable and supreme sealing
